I could go on and on and on as I have plenty more photos taken. But then, I think the combination of Boogey, Red and my fotopages have covered plenty. So in this final serie, I am showing the other side of Thaipusam - the tourists and photographers.
1. Veteran couple
2. More tourists
I overheard a lady made a remark to her friend, "This year there are more journalists than there are kavadi bearers".
3. Guess who
I think she was referring to the photographers, there were a great number of photographers. The tourist photographers were easy to identify. They would be the foreigners with point-and-shoots.
4. The P&S
Then there were the local photographers, toting DSLRs, big camera bags, tripods and photographer vest.
5. Hot lens
No wonder this group of people were mistaken as journalists, yours truly included. And then there was this lady who I couldn't really figure out. You be the judge yourself.
6. Ummmm....
Of the many photographers, there were many styles present. It was almost like watching kungfu flicks. Please vote on your favorite stance. Enjoy..!!! :-D
7. Shooting Nikon FM-2 stance
8. Monkey stance
9. Clawing Tiger stance
10. Guppy Look stance
11. Leaning Dragon stance
Yes, there were many tourists at Batu Caves. Many even climbed the steps into the main cave. There were moments where I thought I was in Europe. Hahaha...
